This is one of my favourite sessions I've ever done, not only because I got to have a hand in styling the session; but because I
lucked out in a HUGE way when McKenzie's Mum contacted me. Not only is she gorgeous on the outside, but she is such a
sweetheart, open to anything, and man oh man can this girl move. The storyboard images aren't at all clear....we were shooting in
the dark with headlights on, music blaring, dancing on the street; and she really was dancing as though no one was wathcing.
Can you say goosebumps?! I swear, McKenzie, you NEED to be on "So you think you can Dance" What I wouldn't give......
Thank you to Heather, one of my past brides for putting the word out that I was looking for a "ballerina-girl"...you did good!
For those of you wanting more....this was part one of a two day photoshoot - the next one is edgier, sexier and a little 80's - I
believe Miss M can add "model" to her portfolio now:) Thank you SO much for being amazing....my job was a breeze and
you've made me love what I do even more!
Michele
** The last 6 images were taken in low, to no light. I DID NOT know what I was doing, but wasn't ready to put down the camera. Lucky for me McKenzie was still full of energy and let me play around. If anyone in the area is experienced in off-camera lighting and would be up for teaching me....I 'd love the help!!! Aside from the obvious technical mistakes though, I'm still diggin' these...thanks again girl!!!

And I'm so jealous of your locations...seriously...this location is a dream!
Oh Michele!!!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!! You Rocked this session.....I cant get over these! SHe must LOVE these sooo much! Oh and your low light pics...they look great!!
Oh I love, love, love these!
THANK YOU!!! It truly was one of my faves...she is just such a sweetheart:) As for the locations...keep poking around where you live. We don't have anything "lush" here as it's semi-desert......the first location is actually a ditch on the side of a road that I've driven by a million times. Look for marsh and you'll find something great!
And thank you for the comments on the low light images; I can't wait to actually KNOW how to light these situations properly....soon, I hope!
Completely gorgeous - both her and your photography!!! Definitely one of my fave blog posts of yours :)
