Gettin' Funky !

When I first came across this image after downloading, I thought for sure it would be one of the best of the day......well, it was not a very good "technical" job on my part, to say the least! I NEEDED it to work though; I mean, look at that sass....she is working it! So I fell back on the trusty old vintage actions and added a lot of grunge and texture.....it's now (still)one of my faves!

Heidi and Fred...I am so incredibly grateful that you chose me to document your incredible day. Your friends and family were so warm and welcoming...I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend my day with. I wish you all the joy, happiness and love I know you'll find with each other.

Happy Daddy's Day!

A few snaps from our Father's Day....or "Papa" as Little Miss calls him:) We spent the day exporing a gorgeous property called "Linden Gardens" just outside of Penticton....a photographers dream! If only I could get a bride to do a "trash" session with her dress here...any takers?!

We had a lovely day together, and I'm so happy I got a great pic of Nevaeh and her Papa.

The Newest Addition

Introducing Miss Samantha Taylor and her big sis Ellie.....these are my 2 nieces from Victoria, and thankfully I got a visit in to meet the little one while on holidays. It was only a 15 minute, on-the-run visit though, so of course I spent the time photographing her! The next visit I'll get my snuggles in!

On June 5th I had the honour of photographing one of my fave cousin's wedding.....Julie and Paul had a tiny ceremony on the Island, and although it was a very blustery day; the two of them WORKED it! Thanks again to my wonderful "assistant" Clare who did a wonderful job helping things turn out as well as they did:)
